  • First of all, please be comfortable!

It helps the teacher if the clothes are not too baggy, so she can see your body and check your alignment during the exercises. Capris or leggings with a tank top or fitted long-sleeved shirt is just fine.

Grip socks are required for all classes and private sessions. Please note that no shoes are allowed on the reformer.

  • Bring grip socks, water, and a towel. We provide water in case you forget yours and grip socks are also available for purchase.

  • If it is your first time here with us, we will have you fill out our health intake and other preliminary forms.

We will start your session by going over your health history and discussing how it affects your Pilates program.

You will be getting an introduction to the Pilates Reformer and the Pilates Principles. We will watch you carefully as you are taken through the basic introductory order of exercises.

We will take note of what we see and address how to proceed with the session that day as well as the next couple weeks.
